End of an era

Alumnus Charles Davis presents “My Last Lecture: 95 Years with La Verne” Tuesday in the President’s Dining Room for the La Verne Academy Lecture Series. Davis graduated from the University, then La Verne College, in 1948. He talked about his life and how he taught a printing class at James A. Garfield Senior High School. Davis is the son of former La Verne President C. Ernest Davis, who served from 1938 to 1948. / photo by Dorothy Gartsman
