Sage blessing for Citrus Hall

Leticia Arellano, associate professor of psychology, and Trevor Thomson, member of the Karuk tribe, raise their arms to commemorate the Native American women who have died from captivity. Thomson led the ceremonial blessing Monday outside of Citrus Hall with California White Sage. Thomson sang ceremonial songs and blessed the new structure with sage that grows south of the Interfaith Chapel with roughly 20 people present.
