Leopards take plunge against Bulldogs

Sophomore Lorenzo DeLeon is quick to start the men’s 50 backstroke leg of the 200 medley relay Saturday against Redlands. The La Verne ‘A’ team of DeLeon, freshman Gavin Soto, senior C.J. Woodward and senior Kris Grigorian finished third with a time of 1:44.26. Redlands won both the men’s meet, 230-49, and the women’s meet, 197-77. SCIAC cancels fall and winter sports amid COVID spike

The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Tuesday that conference competition, including championships, for all fall and winter sports during the 2020-21 academic year would be cancelled.
