Kite festival

Gabby Balais, a resident of Chino Hills, paints her kite at the Cal Poly Pomona Kite Festival hosted by Cal Poly’s Swift Games Club on Nov. 8. Guests had the option to either bring their own kites, or decorate blank kites that were provided by the club. For those who were not flying kites, there were other activities such as interactive games to play while watching other kites take to the sky. / photo by Nathan Hua
