‘I Am First’ Week

The Office of First Generation and Peer Mentoring will sponsor a number of events next week leading up to National First Generation Day. 

Students can share their experiences over lunch in the Quad at noon Monday for First to Fly.

Motivational speaker Damarea Parker will speak about finding one’s purpose from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in LaFetra Auditorium. 

On National First Generation Day Friday, students will be able to decorate graduation caps and take photos in graduation attire from noon to 2 p.m. on the Citrus Lawn.
