Clay models made with soil from the California Botanic Garden by artist Brandon Lomax are on display as part of the “(Re)Place” exhibit at the garden in Claremont. The sculptures will eventually deteriorate into the soil, birthing new life from the seeds embedded into the clay. The exhibit will be run through June 2022. / photo by Brady Keegan
