‘Humanifestation’ Student Exhibit
University of La Verne photography students are displaying black and white prints in a new exhibition, “Humanifestation,” in the Miller Hall Ground Floor Gallery. “Humanifestation” features work from senior photography major Nareg Agopian, senior criminology major Drake Ingram, senior photography major Darcelle Jones-Wesley, senior photography major Casi Martinez, senior photography major Natalie Medrano, junior journalism major Abelina Nuñez and junior digital media major Amanda Torres. The exhibition runs through March 24.
‘Asymmetrical Orbits’
Harris Gallery at the University of La Verne is showing “Asymmetrical Orbits,” an exhibition featuring artists Linda Nguyen Lopez, Jon Pylypchuk, Nicolas Shake, Vincent Tomczyk and Connie Martin Trevino. “Asymmetrical Orbits” is on view until March 23. Harris Gallery is open Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment. Admission is free.
Clay Date at AMOCA
In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, the American Museum of Ceramic Arts in Pomona will be hosting a family workshop where visitors can create clay vases and paper bouquets, Feb. 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is $15. AMOCA is located at 399 N. Garey Ave. in Pomona.
Pomona Art Walk
The city of Pomona continues to host its monthly art walk where local artists and small businesses can thrive in this spotlighted art event in the Pomona Arts Colony, located at 406 W. Second St., on Feb. 11 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Pomona Art Walk is held every second Saturday of the month.
