Leopards clinch SCIAC championship

However the Leopards bounced back to beat Occidental, 71-53, on senior night Wednesday to win the SCIAC regular season championship and secure the No. 1 seed in the conference postseason tournament. La Verne is currently ranked No. 22 in the nation.
