Another historic oak tree falls

Michelle Pasos, adjunct instructor of kinesiology and certified yoga instructor, teaches yoga to University of La Verne students Tuesday in Sneaky Park.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee and Associated Students of University of La Verne hosted a field day in support of Division III week, Wednesday afternoon at Sneaky Park.

A recent downpour series of storms have been plummeting through the state and specifically the southern region which have caused environmental damage to the landscapes in many cities across California. The University of La Verne was directly affected as three oak trees have toppled over on campus in the past few months.

A live oak tree fell onto Third Street at approximately 8 a.m. Wednesday following the heavy rains delivered by winter storms over the past week.
