Grow L.A. Vegetable Gardening Initiative hosts classes at Fairplex

The Pomona Cat Extravaganza and Adoption Event, hosted by Loving Cats Worldwide, was the perfect opportunity for cat lovers to not only adopt but also learn about different cat breeds, buy accessories for their pets, and support the local rescues that were there.
Despite the cold weather, hundreds of people came out to the 909 Night Market at the Fairplex in Pomona last weekend for savory Los Angeles-style foods and sweets. The night market was canceled on Saturday due to the rain but thrived on Sunday.
The RailGiants Train Museum in Fairplex is open to the public every month during the second weekend, except May. This museum is home to some of the well-preserved locomotives, including freight and passenger cars.
