Masterful Keys

Grammy Award-winning Ukrainian-American pianist Nadia Shpachenko will perform a solo piano recital at the Morgan Auditorium from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 27. Students, faculty and the community are welcome with tickets priced at $10.

Studio Saturdays

Ontario Museum of History and Art hosts an Earth’s Canvas and Upcycled Artistry class in collaboration with the Integrated Waste Department from noon to 4 p.m. April 20. Recycle Roo will teach about source separation and give composting demonstrations. Guests can create upcycled art and make their own paper out of plants using a bicycle.

Choral Concert

The Claremont Concert Choir and Treble Singers of the Joint Music Program along with Harvey Mudd College’s Early Music Ensemble will perform European music from before 1700 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. April 21 at the Garrison Theater in the Scripps College Performing Arts Center. Music from the European Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque time periods will serenade the theater coming from instruments of the time.

Community Arts Festival 

The Rancho Cucamonga Community and Arts Foundation hosts their third annual Arts Festival at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20. Art information booths, community stages for music, dance, instruments and theater, as well as kid’s creative spaces, will be available.

Third Saturdays Art Exhibition

The Downtown Ontario Arts District host its monthly art exhibition featuring local artists along with food, drinks and more from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. April 20. Art will be for sale along with lots of other shopping options from a variety of vendors.
