Parallax Exhibition
The Harris Art Gallery is exhibiting the show “Parallax,” featuring La Verne’s own faculty, with watercolor and hand drawings by Professor of Art History Jon Leaver, and colorful sculptures by Professor of Art Keith Lord. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The show runs through Oct. 10. Admission is free.

Cornucopia Baroque Ensemble
The Cornucopia Baroque Ensemble will perform music by Handel, Krieger and Telemann at 12:15 p.m. on Friday for its Friday Noon Concert. It will take place in Lyman Hall, Thatcher Music Building at 340 N. College Blvd. on the Pomona College campus. Music features the oboe, violin, cello, harpsichord, and more. Admission is free. Sheela Bringi Quintet
The Scripps College Department of Music presents the Bessie Bartlett Frankel Chamber Music Concert featuring the Sheela Bringi Quintet from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, at 231 East 10th Street in Claremont. Enjoy Raga Roots and Harp Strings, a fusion of Indian roots with modern harmonies and global rhythms. Sheela Bringi will perform on harp, voice, and the bansuri bamboo flute. Admission is free and doors open at 2:45 p.m.

William Peterson
Organist William Peterson performs from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 29 in Bridges Hall of Music at 150 E. Fourth St. on the Pomona College campus. Peterson will perform a selection of Bach’s iconic organ works from the Baroque era, including pieces like the Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, Prelude and Fugue in E-Flat Major, and the Passacaglia and Fugue in C Minor. Moonshine & Daydreams
The Claremont Chamber of Commerce will host an evening of live music featuring Moonshine & Daydreams from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday at the Claremont Village Plaza at 101 N. Indian Hill Blvd. The band highlights a variety of country, western, swing and jazz styles.
