CAB hosted Cozy and Grateful, an event about gratitude, Wednesday in Sneaky Park.
The event encouraged creativity and community spirit.
Over 100 students attended the event, which offered crafting things such as bouquet arrangements using real flowers.
There were also so-called gratitude boxes to paint for people to hold memories and reminders of things to be grateful for.
Some painted the school colors, while others would add their names and various designs that they preferred
“I think this event was very fun and cute,” said Abigail Morrison, a freshman English major who attended. “Thanksgiving is all about being grateful and thoughtful to those around you and this event matched that perfectly with people designing flowers and boxes the way they wanted to.”
“I really enjoy painting, so it was fun painting and designing your own boxes,” Ronald Ropke, sophomore economics major said.
“Cozy and Grateful and Thanksgiving (are) all about giving thanks to those around you, therefore, it was really smart for CAB to host this event near Thanksgiving,” Sophia Espinoza, freshman computer science major said.
