The Magic Makers Mart was held at 11 a.m on Sept.17 at the University of La Verne Quad.
It brought together small business owners, students, and local artists.
Around 40 people attended the event, while pop music was piped through outdoor speakers.
One of the business owners was a Neve Dagdagan, a junior business administration major.
Her table had fidget toys that were crafted by 3D printers alongside stickers, crochet items and bracelets.
“I’m just selling stuff that other students can also make,” Dagdagan said.
Livia Eddins, a local illustrator and artist, said that events like this support creative communities.
“It’s really nice to see people doing what I’m doing, like artists who are younger than me, and we get the chance to support each other,” Eddins said.
The next Magic Makers Mart will be held on Oct. 4, during Homecoming.
