Fuel Up for Finals, hosted by housing with other organizations, was held Nov. 12 on Citrus Lawn.
About 30 students attended the car-themed event, which included various stations, such as wellness support and refreshments.
The purpose was to energize and support students before finals with various “fuels” such as fidget spinners, granola bars, and energy drinks.
There were virtual reality headsets for students to try, designed to help them understand their own learning styles and optimal approaches.
The career center also was on hand for those thinking beyond final exams.
Linda Prudencio, a freshman kinesiology major who attended the event found it refreshing.
“I get to see options that the school has here,” Prudencio said. “(This) is really needed because I’m a freshman here.”
