In the city of Glendora is a restaurant bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavors. Tut’s Kabob opened two months ago and is located on Grand Avenue.
On their website, it said that their Kabobs are grilled over open fire and that their shawarma is marinated for 24 hours. They pride themselves in having fresh ingredients every day.
They do offer dietary needs and ask for customers to let them know when they order.
Tut’s Kabob opened their doors in March 2026. The previous restaurant that was in the same location, the owners retired and sold the restaurant store front to Tut’s Kabob.
Upon entering the restaurant, there is a counter to order food with the menu on mounted television. They offer fountain drinks or canned drinks.
The menu has entrees with a choice of protein and it comes with rice, pita bread and two cold appetizers. Combo plates with a choice of protein with two sizes medium; two skewers or large; three skewers. There is also an option to have a combo of beef and chicken sharama. The combo plates also come with a choice of two cold appetizers, rice and pita bread.
Along with the plates there are wraps, which come with hummus, pickles, tomatoes, sumac onions, lettuce and sauce. The choice of proteins are either chicken or beef shawarma; lamb, chicken, beef or kofta kabob. For a vegetarian option there is a falafel wrap.
The cold appetizer options are hummus, mutabal, tabbouleh, cucumber yogurt, mediterranean salad, red cabbage salad, sumac onions, potato salad or beet salad. For dessert there is pistachio or mixed nut baklava.
I opted for a plate of kefta kabob, the two appetizers were the mediterranean salad and tabbouleh. Then I also got the chicken kabob plate, the two appetizers, cucumber salad and cabbage salad. Then, for something I got the pistachio baklava.
The food was served in a to-go box and delivered to the table.
The kefta kabob is ground beef and lamb, the Mediterranean salad and tabbouleh had a fresh taste. The kabob was marinated and did not feel overpowering. The cabbage salad was creamy, but not overpowering, it was made with mayo. The cucumber salad was refreshing and had a well balanced flavor.
The chicken kabob was not dry and thoroughly cooked. Each plate came with a garlic cream sauce that I spread on the pita bread and ate with the rice.
The pistachio baklava is a type of puff pastry with a pistachio filling. It was not too sweet and had a nice flaky bite to it.
There is a steady stream of customers, with a majority of them ordering online to pick-up.
