Royalty crowned at Homecoming Fair

Following a week of Homecoming festivities, senior business administration major Kennadie Gonzales and senior psychology major Mikaylay Dacpano were named this year’s Leo Royalty and were awarded leopard statues and crowns. 

The Leopard Royalty Float was revealed at 1:15 p.m. on Oct. 12 in front of Founders Hall, and this year’s Homecoming Leo Royalty was during the parade. 

Founders Hall was decorated with balloons of the school’s colors, orange and green. 

The parade theme was Old Hollywood.

The full Court of Leos also included senior kinesiology major Alyssa Kinsey, senior journalism major Michael Hill, and senior business administration major Jimena Suavez.

To celebrate, the full Court of Leos took pictures in front of Founders Hall and rode the parade float after the two royals were revealed. 

As the parade commenced, various student organizations were active in front of Founders Hall on Third Street, where the majority of the festivities took place. 

Clubs, sororities, fraternities, and other organizations had floats and booths which included food, drinks and more.
