Dozens of students packed the Campus Center Ballroom Tuesday night to listen and dance to music played by DJ Santana, senior broadcasting major Steven Santana; DJ Rvysprvy, junior computer science major Raymond C. Gonzales, and DJ Pablo Macia, a senior radio broadcast major, at the EDGreek event. The event, presented by Phi Delta Theta, pitted the DJs against one another, as they took turns taking turns spinning and competing for the crowd’s admiration. Richard Rosecrance, adjunct professor at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, demonstrates how China has a growing military and economic resource that they will pass all countries, including the United States April 30 in the Campus Center Ballroom. Rosecrance says that China and the U.S. would not have a war with each other because China is not stable enough to do just that. Though the two countries need to create an interdependence of focus, economically and politically and China will want to join forces with the U.S.

Economist examines Chinese ties

American economist, historian and political scientist Richard Rosencrance proposed differentiating economic industries with China to avoid a potential war in his lecture “The Next Great War? The Root of World War I and the Risk of U.S.-China Conflict,” April 30 in the Campus Center Ballroom.
