Students gathered Wednesday afternoon in the Arts and Communications Building to watch “Soul Kitchen,” hosted by the Foreign Languages Enhancement Activities club, to wrap up its German Cinema Month.
Nadine Nakamura, assistant professor of psychology, presented “Examining the Psychological Impact of Immigration on Diverse Immigrant Populations” at noon Monday in the President’s Dining Room as part of the faculty lecture series.
Monday’s faculty lecture featured Justin Saldana’s presentation “Language Immersion: Psychosocial Implications,” based on his sabbatical project of traveling to France to study the language there and compare it to how immigrant students here learn English.
Dana Nagengast recently joined the University of La Verne staff as the associate director of human resources, organizational development and training, which is a newly created position.
