CAB hosts Casino Night on campus
The Campus Activities Board organized a Casino Night in the third floor Campus Center Ballrooms on Tuesday night. Students were encouraged to go all in with formal outfits, and were given the opportunity to learn to play games such as poker, blackjack and roulette.

Local houses go all out for Halloween
Each year, houses on Bonita Avenue can be visited by up to 5,000 trick-or-treaters excited to see the decorations. Houses with themes such as the movie “It,” the “Barbie” movie, alien invasions and even a house with a makeshift cemetery can be found in the festive community.
State law will limit book bans
Gov. Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill 1078 into law on Sept. 25. The new law ensures students in California have access to a well-rounded, diverse and inclusive education.
