Leo Food Pantry to increase November distribution
The Leo Food Pantry, located in the Randall Lewis Center for Well-Being and Research, will increase the distribution from once this month to twice in response to the federal government shutdown and the loss of SNAP food assistance.
University Chorale hits spooky notes
The first note rang at the start of the Halloween Choral Concert at 7 p.m. on Oct. 26 in the Morgan Auditorium. The choir, solos and chamber singers performed to a full house, some guests had to stand alongside the walls.
Introducing the new College of Health dean
Katy Tangenberg took the helm as the dean of the University’s newest college, the Cástulo de la Rocha College of Health and Community Well-Being with the start of the fall semester. She replaced interim Dean Kathy Duncan, who retired in May.

Homecoming stretches across entire campus
The University’s annual homecoming festivities began with a 5K run on Saturday that started on the Citrus Lawn, next was the street fair on C and Second streets in front of the Campus Center, then the Mission Brewing pre-game party in the Quad. The evening ended with the Homecoming football game
