Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Don Bartletti chats with Gale Carlson Ortega and Linda Carlson Lane, descendents of Irene Carlson, for whom the Irene Carlson Gallery of Photography is named. Bartletti’s photographs are from his work dealing with immigrants from Latin America crossing the U.S.-Mexico border while risking their lives. Photos bring insight on immigrants

Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Don Bartletti stimulated the minds and emotions of gallery visitors about the issues of undocumented immigrants at the “Uneasy Neighbors: The Causes and Con­sequences of Undocumented Migration to the United States” exhibit reception Sept. 18 in the Irene Carlson Gallery.
