The University of La Verne baseball team hosted two teams from the East Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15, and split with each in a weekend of double-headers.

Men’s tennis team loses, hopes to beat Redlands

The men's tennis team, supporting a 0-6 record, went into Tuesday's match against Caltech with nothing to lose. But it did just that, lowering its record to 0-7 and 0-5 in conference play.

Baseball team on top of SCIAC

Riding a wave of success, the University of La Verne baseball team has ex­tended its season record to 9-2, overall and 6-0 in the Southern California Inter­collegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC). Coming off a sweep of Pomona-Pitzer and a victory over Cal Baptist, the Leos are currently on a seven-game winning streak, taking eight of their last nine.
