Leopards finish in third place as SCIAC playoffs approach

After dropping the first game of their series in Redlands on Friday, the Leopards sent their seniors off triumphantly by winning both games of the doubleheader on Senior Night on Saturday. It was the first series win for La Verne on the year and put their final record at 4-5 for the pandemic-shortened 2021 season.

The La Verne baseball team took a heavy loss Sunday in their game against MIT, losing 9-3.Despite a strong winning streak in two doubleheaders against Bowdoin and Caltech, the Leopards were unable to finish out their spring break series with a win.

Leopards win series against Bulldogs

he La Verne baseball team walked it off in 11 innings against No. 15 Redlands Friday night at Ben Hines Field, 7-6. With the win, the Leopards move to 10-3 in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play and 19-10 overall.
