While some University of La Verne students think first semester freshmen should be able to take all of their classes pass/fail, or ungraded, the majority responding to an informal survey said they prefer letter grades for all. 

The University’s annual homecoming festivities began with a 5K run on Saturday that started on the Citrus Lawn, next was the street fair on C and Second streets in front of the Campus Center, then the Mission Brewing pre-game party in the Quad. The evening ended with  the Homecoming football game

In recent years, the University of La Verne has begun to accept a higher percentage of freshman applicants. 

With college decision season approaching faster than ever, University of La Verne student employee Jose Jimenez introduced potential new students to the campus, giving a tour of Citrus Hall dorm rooms April 9.

For the past several weeks, everyday life for University of La Verne students has been a whirlwind of emotion and uncertainty. For international students in particular, the need to make a fast decision to either stay on a mostly deserted campus or move back home was one they never thought they would encounter.
