Students report microaggressions

In a crowd of around 50 and a panel of at least a dozen administrators, 20 or more University of La Verne students raised their hands when asked if they had experienced microaggressions on campus.

The Associated Students of the University of La Verne held a Town Hall meeting in Morgan Auditorium recently where administrators from across the University were on hand to respond to students questions and concerns.

The University administration failed the test and in the process showed that it had not prepared well for the exam. In this case, not only was the vision of the diverse population deemed incompatible with the standard way of doing business at La Verne, but “class” was dismissed before the student’s voice was allowed to be heard.
