A lecture Wednesday titled “Gender Identity and Sexism” looked to help students contextualize and explore their struggles with gender roles and societal expectations.
Daniel Loera, director of multicultural affairs, discussed “Stereotypes and Microaggressions,” allowing students to explore their thoughts regarding struggles with racial prejudice on Wednesday in the Ludwick Center before an audience of roughly 15 members of the University of La Verne community.
Part of the Belongingness lecture series, the “Communication Continuum & Multiple Identity/Intersectionality” on Wednesday helped a group of 15 students and faculty reflect on their communication strategies and methods.
