Local fires almost completely contained
The Line, Bridge, and Airport fires have been active since Sept. 6, with the Bridge Fire the largest fire currently blazing in California.
Fairplex takes in horses displaced by wildfires
The Fairplex in Pomona is currently housing 78 horses and one donkey displaced by the Bridge Fire, which started in Angeles National Forest on Sept. 8 and accelerated rapidly in those next few days.
Wildfires engulf Southern California
Portions of Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange and Riverside counties have been engulfed in wildfires, most of which are still burning out of control uncomfortably close to the University of La Verne.
