The ULV football program was accused last Thursday of illegally scouting Chapman University football practice on Wednesday night. After further investigation of the issue, CU dismissed the allegation against La Verne.

Volleyball takes rollercoaster ride

After collecting its first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) win of the season last Friday night, the women’s volleyball team lost Saturday night against the University of Redlands in five games, 11-15, 15-13, 16-14, 12-15 and 10-15.

Cross country make historic first place sweep

History was made at La Verne last Saturday as the men’s and women’s cross country teams both placed first at the Cal Tech Invitational. The meet was scored as a four way dual meet. This marks the first time either team has won an individual title.

Spikers capture second in PCVC tournament

The University of La Verne Men's Volleyball Team hosted the Pacific Coast Volleyball Conference Tourna­ment last weekend. La Verne finished second after falling to the University of California, San Diego Tritons in the championship game.
