The “Release Your Inner Van Gogh” sip and paint event was held on Sept. 22 in Citrus Residence Hall where about 20 students came together and relaxed by painting and enjoying aguas frescas and charcuterie cups.

Racial slurs reported in Citrus dorm

A racial slur against the Black community was found written on doors and whiteboards in the University of La Verne’s Citrus Residence Hall, President Devorah Lieberman told the community in a late Thursday email. 

Fire department staffing shortage raises ULV dorm safety concerns

La Verne firefighters and city officials are at odds about the safety of the community and the department’s ability to keep the community safe, because of ongoing funding and staffing shortages.
