The Leopards dominated Minnesota Morris in a 19-1 win in the second game of a Tuesday doubleheader at Campus West. La Verne took the lead after struggling throughout the first game and losing, 3-2.
Softball preps for season with alumni scrimmage
The Leopards’ softball team defeated a team of alumni, 2-0, Saturday at Campus West. They celebrated 60 years of softball at La Verne with a four-inning scrimmage, home run derby and hit-a-thon event.

The Leopards’ softball team was unable to stop the Chapman Panthers from sweeping them in their series beginning on April 18. The series kicked off with a 7-0 loss in Orange, followed by losses of 7-2 and 6-5 for La Verne on Saturday at Campus West.

Leopards softball snuck away with a win against the Occidental Tigers, 3-2, on April 4 at Campus West. This game kicked off the Leopards’ weekend conference series against the Tigers, where they won two games out of three.
