The La Verne Police Department held a workshop Tuesday afternoon to inform La Verne residents of new and commonly misunderstood laws regarding pedestrian safety, distractions on the road and drunk driving facts. Police Sgt. Dave Mortazavi and Cpl. Martin Weinreb from LVPD addressed traffic issues they commonly see and many drivers are unaware of.

Get Active puts students to work
