The La Verne Leopards delivered an all-around performance Friday at Ben Hines Field, cruising to a commanding 15–1 victory over Occidental in seven innings. The Leopards combined lights-out pitching with a relentless offensive display, leaving no doubt about who owned the diamond.

Winterburn gets 600th career win with romp over Caltech

La Verne beat Caltech, 16–3, on April 4 at Ben Hines Field after coming back from a 3–0 deficit early on in the game. There were 50 people in attendance. The win marked head coach Scott Winterburn’s 600th career victory.

Community Day highlights companionship and support for athletics

The athletic department hosted its annual Community Day on March 29 at Campus West. During the event, many students and their families were given a glimpse of the athletic department’s activities and got to watch the baseball and softball teams in action against conference opponents.
