The University of La Verne’s fall semester club fair hosted 60 clubs Wednesday in Sneaky Park. Clubs were asked to decorate booths based on different fashion brands that fit the core message of their club.
The University of La Verne recently hired Nancy Reyes, an alumna who was a first generation college student, as the assistant director of first generation and cultural programs in the office of multicultural services.
Members of the First Generation Club at the University of La Verne sit among each other like family, prepared to share laughs and ideas and is the reason they have been able to support their members for three years.
Eric Bishop, a University of La Verne alumnus, who also held several positions at La Verne – including associate dean of academic advising, journalism professor and Campus Times adviser – was recently appointed president of Ohlone Community College in Fremont, California. He starts July 6.
