The Office of International Services and Study Abroad hosted its annual Lunar New Year event at noon Tuesday in the Ludwick Sky Bridge. The event, attended by about 20 students, offered food from Panda Express and fun activities to mark the day.

The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership hosted an ice cream social Tuesday on the Ludwick Center Lawn.

Philip Hofer, administrator emeritus, reflected on his experience and place with the University of La Verne at his lecture, “Mediocrity and Meaning: Reflections on a ‘Significant’ Administrative and Service Career,” Tuesday via Zoom.

Following the recent retirement of Phil Hofer, Jeffrey Nonemaker will serve as director of International Student Services, and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs Al Clark will direct study abroad services – effective this week.

Three women from Brazil, who are currently students at the University of La Verne, shared their American experience with the La Verne community on Monday.

ULV’s International and Study Abroad Services hosted a club fair to give students interested in overseas study the opportunity to talk to students who have recently returned from some of these programs.
