The increasing popularity of intramural sports programs at universities and colleges helps target an important issue of lack of daily physical fitness. In addition, it also fosters education, health and socialization in a safe and fun environment.
Six student teams competed in the Campus Activities Board’s Intramural Dodgeball Tournament Monday and Tuesday night in the Athletic Pavilion while wearing matching athletic clothing, dipping, dodging, ducking and catching dodgeballs.
Tuesday night the gym was filled with students ready to see balls fly, cheer for friends and maybe a see someone take a ball to the face at the Campus Activities Board’s intramural dodgeball tournament.
