Love can be soft and gentle, a warm hug, but love can also be cathartic, exciting and loud. The Valentine’s Day hardcore show on Feb. 14 at the Haven in Downtown Pomona, joined attendees together for a loud mosh-worthy show.
Nikolai Galvan, advisor of the Songwriting Club and the University of La Verne manager of the music department and Morgan Auditorium, along with the Songwriting Club, hosted a Friday Night Open Mic at the Morgan Auditorium on March 24 from 7-9 p.m.
The University of La Verne pep band welcomes all students, regardless of major or musical experience. A student-run group, its members say it is an opportunity to to keep their love for music alive without a high-stress commitment.
The Campus Activities Board hosted an “X-Factor” themed talent show called “The Leo Factor” Feb. 3 in which four University of La Verne students competed by presenting videos of themselves performing popular songs.
