A small group of seven students, staff and faculty gathered at the Ludwick Center lawn to build a sukkah in celebration of the beginning of the Jewish holiday Sukkot.
University of La Verne student filmmakers showcased their four self-produced short films to other community filmmakers at the sixth annual 909 Film Festival Friday in Benson Auditorium at Pitzer College.
The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life and Hillel hosted an all-day celebration for Sukkot, which included Israeli food, a movie and the building and blessing of a sukkah in Sneaky Park on Wednesday.
Community members joined the Hillel Club to build a Sukkah, a tent structure, for the University’s fourth annual celebration of the Jewish holiday Sukkot.
