In honor of National Library Week, the Wilson Library hosted the annual Book Day through a panel discussion, highlighting six books and three book chapters via Zoom on Monday at noon.
The law, Assembly Bill 376, was approved by the legislature in August 2020, and went into effect last month. It protects students who borrow for their education as follows: It sets time frames for student loan providers that must be followed; it maintains records; and it requires proper training for customer service personnel in how not to engage in unfair practices.
A panel of six, put together by third-year law student Raquel Parseghian, discussed the severity of the events in Azerbaijan and the current second genocide against the Armenian people last week during a virtual presentation.
