Jennifer Tsui, assistant professor of biology, and senior biology majors Sabrina Delgadillo, Micah Madrid and Noble Woodward presented “Bioengineering with the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Competition,” Tuesday in the President’s Dining Room. 

Students from Assistant Professor of Biology Jennifer Tsui’s community engaged health research class and Assistant Professor of Digital Film Production Morgan Sandler’s documentary film making class work together on a Pomona-based community health documentary.

Roughly 30 people attended the Natural Science Division Senior Symposium in LaFetra Lecture Hall Wednesday.

After demonstrating strong character and activism over the past year, faculty and students from the University of La Verne, as well as community members, were honored at the third annual Spirit of La Verne Recognition Ceremony, Tuesday at the La Verne Church of the Brethren. Award recipients shared inspirational words of advocacy.
