The University of La Verne said its goodbyes to professor of music Reed Gratz after 48 years as an educator and mentor at the University via a send-off concert Sunday in Morgan Auditorium.
A legacy is what professor of music Reed Gratz has left etched into the history of the University of La Verne. After 48 years of being a Leo, Gratz is retiring and saying his final goodbyes in the best way he knows how.
The University of La Verne has a club on campus for those who want to be a leader for world peace but also be able to meet others to create a family bond. The Tikkun Olam International club allows everyone to express their beliefs openly without judgment.
Tikkun Olam International hosted a service and “Sleepover Under the Stars” in honor of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot outside the Ludwick Center on Oct. 7.
The Ludwick Conference Center Ballroom A buzzed with talk of music and culture on Wednesday at the presentation of “Musical Traditions of the Sephardic Jewish Community.” The room was nearly full of students, faculty, and Jewish community members.
