Carolyn Bekhor, department chair and professor of legal studies, spent her spring 2025 sabbatical bringing free legal assistance to Pomona’s needy and revamping a journal for legal professionals and educators. 

Raised in a digital-first world, Generation Z is coming of age amid such social and global challenges as climate change, systemic racism, and political polarization. These ongoing challenges have shaped many of the generation’s core values, which include, in general, a commitment to social justice causes such as racial equality, LGBTQ+ rights and environmental sustainability.

The remake of the movie "Mean Girls,” the film based on the Broadway musical, opened in theaters last month. 

Associate Professor of Mathematics Gail Tang gave audience members a look into the unlikely pair of math and creativity with her presentation titled “Affect and Identity: Considering Math Creativity,” Tuesday in the Quay Davis Executive Board Room.
