Fair brings community organizations to campus

The University of La Verne held a Community Fair that featured nonprofits, student organizations, and more Tuesday morning in front of the Ludwick Center. The goal of the fair was to promote service opportunities for students within the local community.

Louise Kelly, professor of management and leadership, presented “Unleashing the Authentic Leadership of Hispanic Managers in the US Context Through Emotional Intelligence, Resiliency, and Mindfulness” Tuesday in the Quay Davis Board Room.

New students give back during annual event

The Office of Civic and Community Engagement sponsored the 12th annual FLEX and New Students Community Engagement Day on Saturday.

Community members can vote on campus

Voting on campus will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, election day. 

FLEX fair gets students networking

Roughly 200 students took over Citrus Lawn to connect with career opportunities at the FLEX and New Student Community Engagement Fair on Tuesday. 

Spirit Awards recognize La Verne’s core values

After a two-year hiatus, the Spirit of La Verne awards ceremony and reception was held Tuesday at the Ludwick Center Sacred Place.
