The Leo Food Pantry was put in place in 2016 in response to the growing need at the University of La Verne, mirroring state and national trends in food insecurity among college students.
Students came together in the Campus Center to destress, unwind and also learn about both the negative and positive effects of procrastination on May 17.
For three days before Thanksgiving, the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life distributed boxes of food for students in need at the Interfaith Chapel.
As spring nears, the University of La Verne community garden has begun to show signs of new life, with members of the Botany and Gardening Club gave tours Tuesday evening.
