Randi Taylor-Toomay has been announced as the Leopards’ new head coach for the volleyball team. Since joining the coaching staff in 2019, she has contributed to the legacy of success the team has upheld these last few seasons.
BALTIMORE—The La Verne women’s volleyball team became NCAA Regional Champions on Nov. 22, after an intense reverse sweep against Johns Hopkins. The Leopards closed off the game, 15-13, in the five sets.
It was another 3-0 sweep for the women’s volleyball team against the Caltech Beavers Oct. 31 at Frantz Athletic Court to extend their winning streak to 22 matches. However, the streak came to an end in a tight 3-2 loss on the road to Redlands on Tuesday night.
The La Verne women’s volleyball team opened their season with a three game winning sweep at the annual Pacific Coast Classic at Frantz Athletic Court over the weekend.
The incredible Leopards’ volleyball season ended Wednesday night in the NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship Quarterfinals, where the Leopards fell in four sets to No. 1 seed and two-time defending national champions Juniata.
