Three weeks ago I found out that a pretty good friend of mine is gay.

It has been estimated that at least 10 percent of the U.S. population is gay, lesbian or bisexual. So it is logical to conclude that 10 percent of the ULV population probably falls into this category. But one would not know this by observing activities on campus.
