Administrators, faculty, alumni and parents celebrated the new location of the University of La Verne Literacy Center Sept. 3 at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Elementary school students and their families explored different fun activities in literacy, math and movement at the 10th annual “Blast Off Into Learning” Family Literacy and Math Conference Saturday morning at Sneaky Park.

Human Resources, the Literacy Center and the Office of Information Technologies have been temporarily relocated for two weeks to the Bonita Building, located on the corner of Bonita Avenue and D Street, after a transformer overheated Tuesday afternoon.
