The final piece of the puzzle has been set out marking the end of the Avengers series this past weekend with the release of “Avengers: Endgame.”

“Avengers: Infinity War” is a culmination of more than 10 years of cinematic character and plot development by Marvel Studios. After all this time, Marvel has finally begun to make momentous strides in their traditionally poor representation of women by creating female characters that are more than just a plot device.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” pairs action-packed scenes with witty remarks from the world’s mightiest super heroes, making it a tremendously satisfying sequel.

Director Joss Whedon had a lot of expectation thrust upon his shoulders with the high standards of audience members. Lucky for Marvel fans and executives alike the movie did not disappoint, with a record breaking $200.3 million made in the box office opening weekend in America, and a whopping $441.5 million overseas.
