Student athletes at the University of La Verne have been partaking in different ways to remain fit and active, as well as staying connected with fellow teammates and coaching staff, with the campus shutdown for the COVID-19 pandemic.
La Verne coaches and players have been trying to adapt new and efficient ways of continuing the athletic department ever since the University closed its campus for the spring semester due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eric Bishop, a University of La Verne alumnus, who also held several positions at La Verne – including associate dean of academic advising, journalism professor and Campus Times adviser – was recently appointed president of Ohlone Community College in Fremont, California. He starts July 6.
