Leo Pantry fights food insecurity

Food insecurity is surprisingly high among college students. About 36% of university students in the United States are food insecure, according to a study conducted by Temple University and Wisconsin HOPE Lab. 

Pantry addresses food insecurity

The Leo Food Pantry was put in place in 2016 in response to the growing need at the University of La Verne, mirroring state and national trends in food insecurity among college students.
